Thread: JDownloader help

I just downloaded jdownloader and some few games.. Few hours later I checked the program and it doesn't download anything.. It only shows Wait and countdown.. After few days seems nothing to happen.. Help what should I do?

Check your Firewall and Anti-Virus and make sure that both are marked to J-Downloader to access the internet.

Yeah just make sure your internet security isnt blocking it and if its not that redownload it again and see if that works.

hey thanks for the help.. I just solve the problem after I posted this..
the solution was to restart the jdownloader and update..

but now my problems now is..

1. When I leave my pc open and downloading using jdownloader for few hours or overnight.. The program is freezing and I can't open it.. When I check the internet activity nothing was sent nor received or should I say I don't really downloading at all.. All I need to do is to close it using task manager.. And when I open the program it feels to me like it is only open for 1 or 2 hours and crashed..

search up jdownloader nightly V2 its kind of a work around for this problem i had the same prob i downloaded nightly version problem solved

no prob i was freakin out as well oh and steps are

In order to upgrade to nightly edition
1.) download from here (http://update0.jdownloader.org/JDownloaderNIGHTLY.exe) (no brackets) into your jd folder
1.1.) close jd and start JDownloaderNIGHTLY.exe once (it will change version and upgrade jd)
1.2.) after update you are running nightly edition (also automatic updates)
1.3.) megaupload should work fine and no longer freeze the gui

my problem now is how am I automatically start this program on startup..

there is 405 updates.. Do I need to update or not??
