Thread: Help! Letitbit will not resume download with JDownloader

Hi

I have been using JDownloader to resume downloads from letitbit for months but now it no longer works and is very frustrating! I can stop the download then start the download and it will resume BUT if my internet connection is interrupted or needs reset OR i close JDownloader and rerun (which I need to do regularly every day) i can no longer resume the letitbit downloads which makes it virtually unusable for large downloads, i.e. PS3 games. Up until now JDownloader has been great and has been stable allowing me to download overnight but recently I have had to try using other download managers to no avail. I have tried Internet Download Manager and Free Download Manager but every hour it seems they need a new link to update and resume letitbit downloads which is frustrating and means I cannot leave it to download large files overnight etc and need to constantly go back to the annoying ads of letitbit to resume downloads when Jdownloader used to be able to do this automatically. I even tried running older version of Jdownloader without the updates but this doesn't resolve the problem. Any help would be appreciated!

Found a solution at least for the time being. Use Free Download Manager but set to 'light mode'. Downloads are not interrupted and if I need to close the program or reset the connection then just visit letitbit and paste in the new link to resume download.

This doesn't seem to work any more :( Keep getting access denied messages...

To help those in need:

Internet Download Manager (sounds like spyware) works great.

letibit.net doesn't work anymore does it?
you have to use nightly version of Jdownloader.

letibit.net works great with Internet Download manager...

after you enter your password, copy the shortcut on the 'download' button..paste into IDM..boom!

Letitbit Premium and IDM are a fantastic pairing. If you can find the 8 dollars a month to pay for it, I'd really suggest it.

@ymous: You don't actually need to copy-paste the link into IDM as long as your browser of choice supports download catching.

hi , i was wondering if someone can give me some good advise on the best way to download these files, i usually like to use the tarn thread with the single link downloads which are letitbit most of the time, and i have not ever used a download manager before ,which 1 should i use? i have been trying to get uc3 and using chrome and it keeps getting interupted and it takes like 7 days , so is thereany free faster solution to download single link and not have to worry about loosing the connection?
also is there anything i can do to resume the download now? or would i have had to had started downloading the files with a manager and not directly with chrome? i can see the file in the folder still, but its not a file,there is no extension
what should i do?
