how do i erase a thread?

I haven't come across that problem as of yet.

What folders do you want to get access?
I'm using windows 7 and it never locked me out of any folder, even those important Windows and system32 folders are all open.

if you are trying to access someone's documents (a diffrent user) then you will to edit permissions

most people only use 1 user per pc/laptop so that is why not many people have issues with this

i only made 1 user nam and it is an admin
but i documents and settings says access denied ,some public foldes too
my picture my music my documents my download all locked ,but is sharing and or security tab there is a list of permissions with 2 columbs all ow and deny ,at the top it says new user, my user name ,everyone ,when i highlight any of thoes at the top ,and look at the checkboxes at the bottom they are all checked allow ,if i try to change something and click apply i get an errror saying cant apply for i forget what reason it gives some gibberish only microsoft can understand most likely,my older version of windows never had all this needless crap,i never had problem accessing basic folders b4 ,even when i wasnt loggen in as admin,1 time i did get one of the folder to removee the permissin and let me in but was so complicated i cant remember how i did it ,i was just trying random setting since i cant understand any of what the setting mean or what they do or how there supposed to work,i call tek support like 50 time for my vaio and nobod i talk to can ever figuer it out but then again there all retards over there ,they just give up and say call ms,i read through hundreds of posts on there free support forums ,but its useless,i dont think they want o resolve issues on there and they haddly ever do ,they just want you to call there overpriced support so they can rape you
