heres my video card:
i wanna put a cable in there that i got with my card

Are you sure that that is an input and not an output?
I've never seen a video card that has a S-video input before.

I have a video card with S-video input, but I don't know about yours so you should look into it to see if it's in or out.
Also, the first picture shows an s-video connection, and the second one seems to show component cables plugged into a composite cable... Do you have an s-video cable for your PS2?
If you want more help, you might want to give details about the connection on both ends... an oversized blurry picture of 2 cables connected together doesn't tell us much.

u should get yourself a vga box it alot easier and it work fine better than what u r doing.
I did what u did but didnt work cause it wont give signals to the monitor u need a tv tuner card dood if u want to connect your ps2 to your monitor or vga box which is why better than a tv tuner card.

If the s-video is an input, that's a tv tuner card. A tv tuner card is not better or worse than a good vga box; as long as you have a quality one.

yo got a point there about the quality one but s-video that he has in a graphics card was only use to hookup on to a tv or a computer monitor but was not meant to hookup a ps2 and the cable he got would not work. He can get a cheap pci capture card in local computer store or i would prefer a vga box it can pretty much hookup to any computer monitor which u can get in ebay.

ok so that clarifies that it's an output then. so like chimpz said get a pci capture card or a vga box. Make sure it has at least a composite video in (the yellow one) or if you get a vga box make sure it's a real converter box and not just the cheap usb wire thingie... those are known to cause delay so you can't play games on them.
