Thread: Divx standalone dvd players

Ok:D done some research on google about standalone divx dvd players to see if they are still on the market to my surprise they are still very limited.Philips/Manavox is still the only dvd player to play divx moviesfrom what i could digg up.I have had my Philips DVP5140 for about three years which has played everything in my massive divx dvd collection:D(and anything else)with no problems.Why do you think Philips is the only one to make a divx player or did i miss something in my research?????????Just wondering because i would hate to convert all my movies if my divx player stop working and could not get another divx player(where i live without ordering from the net got mine from Wally world).Some info would be appreciated.

Pretty much all of the DVD players on that list have Divx support.

And get it from the net, it's bucketloads cheaper...

:D Good deal man!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks for the info.There is alot more players than my searched turned up but as for being cheaper to order from the net sometimes:o think i gave $32 bucks new for my player at Wally world cheaper than a refrub. on the net.Still i was getting a little worried about it phasing out.
