Thread: Downloading slow Please help

My computer has recently been downloading slowly and I was wondering what might have made it go so slow. I used to be able to download things that were a 1gig under an 1hour and now the estimated time seems to get longer and never reaching an end.

Could I have a virus or something like that??? Need help please.

Sometimes it depends on the server. I've encountered the same problem before and the cause was the server. Try downloading the same file again tomorrow or the next day and see what happens. If the same thing occurs, then try scanning your computer for any suspicious files.

also try to lessen your cookie files, they also slowed down download speed for me
