    hi guys i just found this program that lets you use youre pc with youre ps2 to let you play lan games over the internet. it doesnt only play gt4 but many other lan games too.

    also if you have a fat ps2 and need youre mac address...
    1. Load the Start-up CD in your PS2.
    2. Make sure you have the network cable disconnected.
    3. Walk through the Start-Up CD until it starts testing your connection. Since we disconnected the network cable the test will fail.
    4. You can now press the select button which will display the MAC.
    5. The 12-digit number is the MAC address of your PS2, write it down so that you can use it later

    yes, xlink kai rocks :D I've used it on my xbox a while ago, and psp it's the best.

    And what happens if you have a matrix mod chip? Is it risky? Can u play with a downloaded iso?

    my ps2 is soft modded. I have gran toursmo 4 as an iso on my hdd, but i am not sure if if it will work online with xlink kai because its a headache for me to get xlink running. i still havent gotten it to work with gt4.

    does anyone still go online for ps2? lol i think everyone has an xbox or ps3 now.
