    i have a scph 39001 serial u4 phat ps2 and am thinking of doing mod chip to it and might do solderless but maybe not which chip to get and i have heard bout the lasers going out playing burt games is there a laser replacement for mine or what would u guys recamend

    Skip the whole Mod chip scene and go right for FMCB and OpenPS2Loader for either USB loading or stream your games! :D

    One, it will save you time. Two, it will save you money. Three, read over the tutorials. There's several ways to install FMCB! :D
