Thread: What is memor32?

I need complete information.

Memor32 by itself is just a 32mb memory card with a usb cable for transferring saves to/from your PC.
When combined with either Free MCBoot/ESR or Memento Firmware it becomes a "Plug and Play" modchip.
I have one and it works quite well, I originally used Memento's firmware but switched to FMCB because Memento no longer updates their firmware and there is a new version of FMCB regularly.

However where FMCB can be installed on nearly any memory card the only reason to get memor32 is if you need a 32mb memory card that can plug directly into your PC.

Is it possible to boot .elf files off memento? Because i just recieved my memor32 today :Slob: no I didn't get scammed into buying it, I wanted the pc hook up function. Im just wondering if it is worth it to install free mcboot or not.

Yes you can boot elfs from memento's firmware 1.2, but it isn't worth it to install the firmware.
Free MCBoot/ESR does the same thing and is updated more often, considering that memento team has basically abandoned their software.

I was talking to Ozmodchips and they say that they recently spoke to memento and that they have completed the pal fw but not the us and they are not releasing until they are done with u.s.

Everyone and their grandmother claims to have "talked to memento team" and it's a line of bull.
Memento team hasn't been heard from in about 6 months and for that 6 months they have been 99% done with firmware v1.3.
I'll see it if and when it actually happens but the rest of the world and I have given up holding our breaths for news and moved on to more reliable "teams".
