    Default Location of the Mod-chip

    I saw a topic like before about the location of the mod-chip so i decided to investigate where could the mod-chip be while i took apart my WHOLE playstation i found it the location of the Mod-Chip is on the Main board of the ps2, its not hard to miss, also if u dont no wat ur chip is u also could check what could be eg: A Mobo.

    Just wanted to share my info even if its kinda useless, BUT atleast u could change the whole laser without going o crap the modchip is somewhere around here :D

    Yeah, if the only way you could get a modded PS2 would be to install a chip yourself. Then that would be extremely easy to figure out.

    Er whut, who stickied this. I think anybody would know where the modchip is as it's a separate component from the rest of the stuff in the PS2 and easily distinguishable.
