My PS2 doesn't read my PS1 GAMES
Guys, could you help me out?
I bought a PS2. It already have a mod - chip installed on it. It can read my burned DVD games and pirated CDS I bought. But there is one problem, It can't read a PS1 game.
I don't know the brand of the mod - chip but all I know it can read PIRATED CDS. It can also read DVD MOVIES but not all.
I want to know if there is anyway I could play my PS1 games to my PS2? Do I need to change my mod - chip? Is there any software that I need to burn or CD/DVD so I can be able to play my PS1 games.
Hope you can help me out.
Thanks in advance.

Try pressing the reset button 3 times (at least 1 sec interval each) from standby mode and while the ps1 disc is inside.I had this kind of chip before switching to matrix infinity, I don't know the name of the chip but all I know it's cheap.
Anyway, do this with caution 'hope it helps you.
(I am assuming your unit is ps2 slim)
