Thread: New to the site, not to the scene.

Hello, So im finally creating an account here.. I've been leeching content from this site for the last couple of weeks and i've finally decided to play an active role in the community, hopefully I can contribute back to it for all that it has given me.

I work at CGCREPAIRS, a computer/game console repair shop in Merced, CA. Was never really big into the modding scene, jail-broken iTouch as about all I messed with. Well after doing countless repairs and modifications to customer's console's, I started taking up small project's during my lunch hour, one of which was to work on an old PS3. After I got it up and running, noticed the firmware version, and continued to... How should I put this?.. Keep myself entertained on my lunch-breaks .

Well quite frankly I fell in love with the scene, the Custom Firmwares, the home brew, the applications; It blew my mind, the possibilities were endless. I plan on sticking around for awhile, hopefully my lunch-breaks will continue to be entertained by development of new applications, programs, or content for me to contribute to the scene, it seems the spotlight is just starting to fall on the PS3 jailbreak, hopefully I can help make it shine just a tad bit brighter.
