Thread: Rank privileges.

I said this once before. We need a system for certain categories.
As in Seniors and up are only able to post in certain places.
I love the pc apps section but users / bots flood it.
Just like the music / movies sections. Their not as bad yet.
But it will happen.. Implement ranking privileges.
A bot / flooder could never make it to senior status..

Actually I (and several other users) had complaints about bots and flooding, and as a result there are some systems implemented to disable/stop that, but as written here:

We had restrictions on posting but all plugins are disabled for upgrade.So plz be patient let them its just a matter of 1 or 2 day than it will have limit again

So yeah, flooding is hopefully only temporary, and mods are well aware of that problem
Anyways you can always report the bots

yeah im here. if u see bots, I can do a insta clean up and ban in one button

Why don't we just implement the registration system other sites have?I mean we can have the user enter a captcha to subscribe here.That should solve the bot issue.
For the users flooding we could do what da rappa from above is suggesting and maybe get more mods so each section has at least 1.Or their threads could not be shown until they get approved by a mod,like the ps3 tut sec here.

that would discourage people from posting and therefore leaving them unable to contribute to this site which is unfair. Every noob deserves the same privileges we all had when we were noobs. when u see bots just report them. this site is pretty quick responding to stuff of that nature. captcha for junior members posting threads is a good idea tho.
