Hey, first of all, it's great that we have a PC section that seems to be active and many topics opened there, but some people are simply abusing that section to flood with often-identical threads, which makes me suspect we have some post bots or something. For instance, this mrsex87 posted this thread three times:http://www.ps3iso.com/pc-application...-2011-eng.html
And
http://www.ps3iso.com/pc-application...-2011-eng.html
And
http://www.ps3iso.com/pc-application...-2011-eng.html
Why? No human would do that in their right mind.
Also, sharing M$ Office 2010, while that's great, he shared like 10 different versions, which should have been instead grouped into say, one thread 'Office 2010 Collection', but again, that requires some human intelligence.
I recall how we had ppl flood the PSN uploads section with Duplex threads, and it got really irritating, and this is the same case: good threads gets bumped down. I visit this forum every few hours, and instead of going through 3 pages of 'new posts' there's 6, half are not even relevant to ps3iso! And barely anyone uses IMHO.
I understand this is an additional worlkload on mods, but I believe if, like the Doctor said:
Here: STOP FLOODING this section!!!"Flooding is against the rules, you know those things you either didn't bother reading or just don't feel like following.
Flooding leads to warnings, infractions or temp bans.
If you feel the need to post every PSN game released make ONE(1) thread per user containing them NOT 100+ threads per user containing one game per thread."
Not only it will increase the quality of the posts in PC section, less flooding, less bumping down important threads, people would actually LOOK into the PC section if they can find what they want instead of being poked with a stick in their face with it.
Thank you
PS: if the workload is getting heavier on mods with the increased sections and number of n00bs due to private forum, then perhaps reconsider Coldmine's idea of having "Spam Officers" that would help tidy things up.
