    Default Laggy *** **** connection?

Not sure if it's just me, but I can never connect to this website from here in USA until it's like ****ing 10 PM, is it just a lot of traffic going on or what?

I can only assume DDOS attack, but people are not accepting that as an answer only an excuse even though it fits the outages to the letter.

That would fit into the problem...but isn't this run on a private dedicated server? I assume this server operating this website must be huge due to the lots of traffic. :D

I think we share a server with one or more of the other ISO sites. (I can't remember off hand)

The size of the server does not matter, when someone DDOSes a server it basically shuts down it's connection to the internet.

Although this answer does fit the bill I could be incorrect and there could be another unknown reason behind the outages.

you (or the server team) could check if it's a DDOS by limiting connections to the site to one per I.P. so that it functions as normal but with one page at a time.
though if you have a dedicated router that's where the problem could be. try filtering unusual requests using a reverse QoS system or something.

I'm fairly sure that is something I don't have access to.

I did realize that while I was typing. though you're more likely to know how to contact the server team. though I may have been referring directly to the server team, I can't remember.
