    Default Sony Direct Linking Suggestion

Would it be possible to do this?

You know how there is swear words blocking with **** if a certain word is typed? Would we be able to do the same thing with Sony URL's? This way we wouldn't need to worry about people direct linking and mod's wasting their time removing them. Just don't allow them to happen to begin with.

How about the a0, b0, sp-int etc. sites? So they don't link directly to .pkg files?

That isn't allowed either though. That's why I want to suggest completely blocking at least those .pkg URL's somehow.

    Like this for example

Blocking the urls completely isn't such a good thing as there is info, patches, ect that people need.

I wish I could find a newer version of the Anonymizer Hack to install, so that whenever a link is not coded clicking it will go through a redirect site (anonym.to) prior to opening the url.

That one involves editing the physical pages on the server, which only the server staff can do.
If it is an addon then any of the administrators can install it as it doesn't require server access.

Either that or you could run the links through tinyurl and use the tinyurl links.

Because all tinyurl does is just redirect to the URL listed in their database. So when Sony tries to see what URL you came from all they see is tinyurl.
