Thread: PS3 Downloads > PC Applications

To whom it may concern,

I am hardly ever in any other section than PS3, but this seems to be the best place to make this suggestion (lol).

In the PS3 section, we have a Games Download Section and a PSN games download section. Which is great, it keeps the games section nice and neat in terms of downloads.

I might suggest to add a child board there for "PS3 Addon Content" for things such as expansion packs, map packs, character packs, Guitar Hero Songs, Rock Band Songs, ect.

Anything that does not fall under a PS3 Disk Game or PSN downloadable game. I know this is not available as of yet for PS3 due to drm, but this is only a matter of time until it is finally broken and these things become available. Might as well start a child board now to get it populated.

My main suggestion is this.

We have a PS3 Downloads Section, under that we have applications, themes, and other child boards.

In applications, this is cluttered with apps and homebrew for the PS3 such as CFW, FTP, Backup managers ect. But also apps for the pc are there as well, apps that are used for the ps3, altering files, ect. And this kind of clutters that specific board up. As I myself had a hard drive failure, I am finding it hard to find all the pc apps I used among all the PS3 apps. (Even harder without the search function)

So if it is possible, could we make a PS3 Downloads > PC Applications child board added? I believe the reason for having this specific child board has been well explained and the need warranted as the PS3 scene grows to keep the PS3 section neat and easily navigated.

My final suggestion is based off of news I read just today about a new Jailbreak Dongle that will allow the playing of PSX games through the PS3's PSX emulator. As this is something I have been really interested in and tryin to make possible myself, would it be warranted to add a child board to "Game Downloads" that is for PSX games? This may be a bit early, but seeing as how this new usb dongle is coming out in the very near future, it is only a matter of time until someone reverses the code and releases a CFW that allows this to be done natively without a usb dongle. It might be a good idea to get a section ready for PSX game downloads.
