Need a MOD please...
By default Ive set my options to automatically email me notifications. Ive even went in manually to each thread and "subscribed" but I'm still not getting any emails. I checked to ensure the email address was correct, and a few years ago on a different type of forum I had the same problem with vbullitin. (thats how I learned the manually "subscribe" trick, but its still not sending me email notifications. I know the site is having issues with the search and stuff, but I don't think their related.
Any ideas?
Thanks guys!

This isn't anything to do with the PS3.
To answer your question, email related settings have been disabled board wide to save on bandwidth.
It has been that way for at least a year.

Wow, only forum Ive ever seen block out features like that. I mean seriously how much bandwidth do you need for a bulletin board? I noticed that you couldn't attach either.
Are these features available with a paid account?

Attachments are only available to staff members because of people abusing the system.
As for the other disabled features, we've had to disable them to save bandwidth (as I stated) as you may have seen our server isn't the greatest (downtime) combine that with the amount of members and guests we get and you wonder why we need all available bandwidth.
That and if I recall correctly we share this server with a couple of the other iso sites, which are also high traffic.

Fair enough, I had no idea that the servers were that outdated, and overworked.
I just assumed that with the power to ban so easily, that disabling a feature to everyone for the few you can ban anyway would be overkill. doesn't seem that fair to the loyal responsible adults who use this site as its intended should suffer because of the jackasses out there exploiting it. But as long as there are 3rd party image hosting sites allowing you to direct link for free its a happy medium. especially if the bandwidth available is as bad as you say. Hopefully in the future this site can grow out of its limitations, and be as useful as It is popular. Either way thanks for the answer, My photobucket account needed reviving anyways

I don't know if the servers are outdated (I don't have access to that info) but yes they are overworked.
