    Default Hard Drive/Codebreaker Issue.....

    Check.
Sometime ago when I bought my Codebreaker 10 disk I saved some information to my hard drive. Ever since then when I try and load Codebreaker, on the "loading cheats - please wait" screen it just freezes. I have to pull out my hard drive in order for it to further on towards the cheats select page.

Now I have Codebreaker.elf in my memory card and it works the same. When I go to select source it says it does not detect a hard drive. Is there a way to identify just what I saved in my hard drive pertaining to Codebreaker not functioning properly?

    Thanx in advance.

To add to everything else, I have the Fat PS2.

The Codebreaker disk itself wasn't meant to work with any HD. Not to mention, the newer disks don't like anything being plugged into any of your USB drives while loading.

If you're using the elf, you need to use the one that is set up to work with HD. Also note, that the elf is just like the disk, it doesn't like having anything plugged into your USB drives while loading. The trick to get around this is to actually have the elf file on your FMCB card and add it to your PS2 boot menu. Load your cheats for your game and then it go to uLaunch. From there, plug in your HD and select it from your uLaunch menu. Select your game on your HD and you'll be good to go.

The Codebreaker WAS meant to work with HDDs that is why they implemented that part of the software.
It was made to A. save it's code list to a HDD if one is available saving valuable MC space.
    B. Copy saves onto a HDD from an MC for storage purposes (you can't use the saves unless you put them back on your MC).
The settings and cheat list file your CB wrote to your HDD was more than likely corrupted because it got too big.
You'll have to delete the file by wiping the CBs partition from the drive.

    Thanx Guys.
Hey Doc, I tried to delete the .pcb from my hard drive via FlashFXP but it doesn't delete the file. Is there another method of doing so?

I hate to say it but it sounds like a bad hdd. Have you tried checking the hdd in a pc or maybe use a different hdd?
