    Default what hdd works best

    Hi i have a ide 160 gig from a old xbox and a modern sata whats the best to use i want to buy a usb case and build it in
    Are there things i need to know ?
    BTW crash is working from a simple usb stick COOL :-)

    I've used a IDE drive as an external USB device with an adapter cable with an AC plug in before and the games didn't really play any better than on a regular USB device. I know that SATA drives will work but I'm not sure if all brands are compatible or if they perform any better. You should get a USB adapter cable or enclosure with both IDE and SATA connections and test them both out.

    Got it working with a ide maxtor 250gig i build in a xbox1 have 2 xboxes so :-) And this one i don't use
