Buzzing noises when playing games
Hi ive installed some games to a hdd to be played through hd loader, when i now start the console up with the hdd in i get an interfering noise like a loud buzzing noise. Some would describe it when you partially plug a guitar jack into an amp there is a loud buzzing noise. On main menus of games and during games it makes the noise and you just make out what the characters are saying. What could be causing this? If it helps im using ps2 composite connection which does improve the quality but also i get problems with the graphics the games go in faded colours and you get faint red lines moving up and down the screen.
Hopefully this is just something minor
Many Thanks

have you ever dropped the hdd?

No i havnt mate, if im honest i extracted the hdd from an old pvr recorder box which happened to be a compatible hdd for the ps2. I then did a full format and installed games to it. The buzzing only seems to happen during a game loading up e.g loading into a chapter or scene. Their is still a minour buzzing during game play but the sound has dropped low drematically. and like said earlier the colour contract seems to have faded and gives faint red lines across the screen. btw this is using a composite ps2 cable not the origional rca adaptor as i wanted to improve the quality of the ps2 as much as possible. could it not be an interfearance noise like what you get if you have it near any power wires? as i do have a fair few cables near the ps2?
Thanks
