You can also use SMS(simple media system) to play movies on the ps2. Your console needs to be modded to be able to do this. I would recommend FMCB exploit because it has everything already included in the "noobie package" there are a lot of good tutorials on this site and others.

Do you have a slim or fat ps2 and do you have a swap magic disc, AR max, Game shark, or any other cheat device or the 007 Agent Under Fire original disk? If you will post this info I will try to help you all I can. Look on the back or bottom of your ps2 and post the model number, that will help alot. Here is the link to the Free MC Boot (FMCB)

OpenPS2Loader works a lot better than SMS, imo, but like williams1978 said, your system still needs to be modded in some way, shape and/or form before you can do anything.
