Also- although you CAN use a USB flash drive with this (I tested with a 2GB Kingston, and the games I tried worked fine); it'd be better to use a USB HDD for 2 reasons-
1. faster (can be argued, but I get faster loading times with a USB HDD)
2. more space (therefore, more games)
sorry for not uploading the programs etc. yet, my laptop's battery died recently, so haven't been able to get the files to upload 'em. Should get my new battery tomorrow, so I'll upload it all then.

Re: [Tutorial] Using USB Advance on your PS2
I dont see why poeple hate usb extreme/advance so much i use it all the time for times when i have no dvds laying around and its a good thing for poeple with a slim ps2. If you set it up right it can work pretty good.
Anyway nice tutorial

Re: [Tutorial] Using USB Advance on your PS2
Your tutorial isn't bad, but you missed out two very important things:
1. In phase 3 you said to download isos and burn them to disc so they could be added to the USB HD. But if you use USB Insane, instead of USB Extreme, you can directly add .iso files, without the need for burning discs. You can find this program and more information on it, about half way down my PS2 app thread: http://www.ps2iso.net/index.php?topic=8434.0
2. Compatibility with USB Advance quite low but if you follow the DNAS swap tutorial (about 3/4s of the way down my page, link above), you can get games like Burnout 3, Juiced, NFSU2 and Resident Evil Outbreak working, when they didn't work before. Again it is easier to use USB Insane.
There are also so other USB Advance utilities on my thread: http://www.ps2iso.net/index.php?topic=8434.0
Any questions just ask!!!
