Thread: Need help playing PS2 backups..

My friend tells me today that there is a way to play ps2 backups without having to buy magic swap. He said something about putting a psx game inside and going into Browse into the ps2 system.. then using some tool to open the disc tray without the ps2 knowing and then put ur backup in and start the game.. is this true? if so, how would i go about opening the ps2 without the ps2 knowing.
