    Default FreeMCBoot Problem???

    Ok, I have a Slim PS2 SCPH 70001, Verbatim DVD-Rs, a Retail PS2 Memory Card, CruzrMicro Flash Drive, Electrical tape blocking my censors, as well as "Demo Disc 066 [NTSC-U] [SCUS-97241]" with Rocky.ELF replaced.

    When I try it I get a black screen for a little while then the red, please insert PS2 format Disc.

    Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

    You will probably have to do a double swap, once you've swapped the disc the laser will read the uLE ELF then go back to center of the disc to check the TOC to make sure it's a retail disc, when this happens you will have to swap back to the original disc before the laser reaches the center, then after it reads the TOC swap back the burned disc while the laser is moving back to the ELF. It may take several tries to get the timing right.

    Thanks man, took a few tries but I got it working flawlessly.

    I was about to order a pre-hacked memory card.
