Thread: How can mod my PS2 ? HELP

If you don't want to use a slide card or take your ps2 apart you can't use Swap Magic, you can still install Free Mcboot but you will have to buy an AR Max, Code Breaker, Game Shark, or Memor32 card. If you can't use Swap Magic then you won't be able to play original retail ntsc ps2 discs, but you can play backups with the ntsc to pal patch and ESR, if you just want to play original games then you might try buying a video system converter. That video is for the game swap trick that I've been talking about, if you follow it don't use the Memento patch.

I'm not sure what you want to accomplish, if you have some ntsc games you want to play then try a video system converter. If you want to mod your ps2 to play backups then you'll have to use one of the methods to install Free Mcboot. You're welcome.
