    Feds Kill Megaupload (Updated)

    i know there's alot of alternative
    but megaupload is so convenient for all free user - no captcha

    we still have mediafire
    any other alternative recommendation

    The FBI closes Megaupload (Megavideo): Seven people arrested on charges of piracy

    Megaupload.com (Megavideo), one of the largest portals and content of the shared hosting world, has closed. According to WSJ report, the FBI has charged seven people responsible for downloads website hacking, four of which have already been arrested.


    Apparently these four officials have been arrested in New Zealand, where federal agents have moved to proceed with the bank records and search servers. The charges include violation of copyright.

    Megaupload.com closing comes just a day after the Internet to protest against the controversial Law SOPA.

    And now the fed's will have the ip and mac addresses (plus what ever other info you gave Megaupload) of every person who have visited the site, what they uploaded/downloaded, if you were a regular user of Megaupload and used it for storing all your game rips then I'd be a little bit nervous...........
