Thread: Anyone Using PCSX2?

I was into ps2 emulation before I got my ps3, and well, it didn't turn out well for me, my computer specs are enought to play most of the new stuff at full speed, but as most of you know emulation is something a little bit different. Anyways, I haven't been checking the pcsx2 for a long time, and last time I did I remember some guy getting 1080 resolution from Zone of Enders at full speed, while we ps3 users still can't. So anyone know about the status? Can lower computers benefit more from the emulator?

From what i know there are some pcsx2 lite versions, because a lot of people complain that the drivers and the properties of the pcsx2 were too much for a mid tier pc to handle...that and dolphin are quite some emulators than requiere some big power and specific settings depending on your pc and the game you are going to play.

Also consider that a powerful motherboard and a graph card are around 1,200 dollars..way more than the ps3
