We've already talked about this thousand times as the forum members. But now I think it might be different. As you know there are already working ps1 and psp emulators (psp is not free of course, but we've seen pics, it works). And I'm very excited about some news of free psp and ps1 emulators that can use iso files. And there are already nintendo 64 and nintendo ds emulators on the way.

But ps2 has been one of the biggest emulator issues. No one worked on it since Sony (greedy b......s) removed ps2 backwards compatibility from slim versions (which most of the new users have), for more money of course. But they did something instead of that. They made a sofware emulator to run ps2 games on ps3 system, they already ported 10-12 titles. Including some fast-paced games that I've already tried with several emulators on pc, and never got a good result. But now we have a perfectly working official emulator.

So, the question is can we rip this emulator just like we did with the psp and psone and use it to play our iso files from other ps2 games? Is this possible?
