Arrow Premium Filesonic JDownloader Database Updated Daily!

Tired of having your JD settings erased for trying to use an expired JD database.script file? On the constant lookout for a shared premium Filesonic account? This thread aims to solve these technical problems in life.

Use my JD Account Injector script to insert the account information from any third-party database.script file (rename to inject.script) into the active database.script file. This allows you to insert JDownloader account information into your JD settings without having any other settings erased or overwritten. The script along with instructions is available to download here:

The latest JDownloader premium Filesonic database download link as of 12-12-2011 is below.

For those that do not wish to use the JD Account Injector script, there are two ways to use a thrid-party database:
Exit JDownloader, ensure it is not running in the background and create a backup of the database.script file before editing it. The default location for the active database.script file on a Windows 64 bit machine is:
    Code:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\JDownloader\config
    1. A single line in the database.script file contains the account information stored by JD. This line begins with
      Code:
      INSERT INTO CONFIG VALUES(‘AccountController’,
This line can easily be found in the database.script file by opening it with notepad and searching for “AccountController”. Since the line is so long, it will appear as several lines in notepad even with word wrap off. Find the AccountController line in the inject.script file, select it by double clicking AccountController, and copy the line. Then open the database.script file in the JD config directory and replace it’s AccountController line with the one you copied from the third party database.script file. Save the file to manually inject the account information.
    2. Rename inject.script to database.script and overwrite the existing database.script file. The huge disadvantage of this method is the loss of all previous JD settings such as downloads list, theme and download directory.

Didn't work for me! It added the FS premium account but I lost all of my other accounts from the database.script file. It kept all of my password settings but I also lost all of my linkgrabber links I had previously added. Seems to only keep certain things in the configuration.

I had quite a few files in linkgrabber & now I have NONE! Guess I'll have to replace with my saved database.script file since it didn't keep them. :( Edit: Do we keep the database.script file in the JD config folder after running accinject? Thanks!

I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems, but it sounds like everything worked. Allow me to explain:

JDownloader does not save the links in the linkgrabber when you close the program. Therefore your linkgrabber links were lost due to JD terminating, not the script. Try it yourself; load up some links in the link grabber, exit JD, and reopen. The linkgrabber will be cleared and only your download links will be retained. Still, I apologize about that and I do hope you can find those links again!

My script replaces the account information from the inject.script to database.script. Therefore any accounts JD had stored previous to injecting will be lost. If you know the username and passwords to your previous accounts, you can add them back into JDownloader after using the script. I cannot make the script append accounts to the database.script as I am not educated in cryptography. However, chances are that the accounts you had previously were not very popular cyberlockers and the accounts are probably due to expire soon anyway. Filesonic, in my opinion, is a perfectly fast cyberlocker that has virtually all the files you could want. That is why my database only has a premium account for Filesonic. Furthermore, I believe my Filesonic database stays premium longer than other's, but you will have to determine that for yourself.

And to answer your last question; Yes, keep the database.script file in the JD config folder after running accinject. After verifying the account was injected(replaced) properly, you can delete inject.script and accinject.js. Hope this clears some things up!

Thanks for the clarification. I see how this works now. I'm still gonna have to go back & refind my links. I usually make container files as a backup just in case but I hadn't with my latest set. :( Edit: From your site it does say this though:

However, since the database.script files contains all the settings used by JD, simply overwriting the existing JD database.script file with a third-party database.script file clears all of the existing JD settings such as it’s theme and download links. Thankfully, there are a couple of solutions to allow you to retain your JD settings!
This allows you to keep your JDownloader links, settings and theme while importing account configuration information.
Isn't that saying these methods keeps your settings like download links(linkgrabber)? I'm using option number #1 of course with the inject.script & accinject.js files from JD. That's what I'm getting from the above description. I'm still confused when I thought I was straight! Thanks!

Since there's no way to retain the linkgrabber list, I thought it would be clear that the link list that is retained is the download link list. I will consider changing the wording to make it more clear what settings erased. (Only settings that are erased if script works correctly is the previous account list)

You can save your linkgrabber list to the clipboard before exiting JDownloader. Select all the links in the linkgrabber, right click one of the links and and click Copy URL (#). I feel for your loss as I did the exact same thing when I first used a third-party database.script.

Thanks for the feedback and happy downloading!

Yeah! I've used the clipboard to save links before from JD with the copy URL option. I saved them in a notepad file in case needed for later. Lately though I've just been creating container files with the links. I just didn't do either before using this new method. Thanks!

The generic "links" in all my instructions has now been changed to "download list" to prevent confusion. I'm glad you pointed that out, I admit with the old wording it was easy to get confused. The database has also been updated as old one expired. Enjoy!
