Thread: Playstation 3 jailbreaking?

Hi guys OK I want to buy a PS3 Second hand but whichever one I find and call the seller he says that the Firmware version is 3.60 or sometimes others say 3.70. I can't find any with 3.50 to 3.55 So I can Jailbreak it. I want to know does the Firmware still have to be 3.50-3.55 to be able to jailbreak it or can it be higher?

it has to be less than 3.55 or exactly 3.55.
the easiest way to find one would be looking in the paper as the majority of internet sellers have updated.
or you could ask gamestop to hold one for you if it comes in.
