Thread: Flashing from 3.72 to 3.55 info (No soldering apparently)

Hey guyz just ordered my Ps3 slim from Amazon and wanted to Jailbreak my toy and was given the impression that a soldering masterclass was involved lol so I got scared and decided to wander on to google for a search..

I've been looking at the E3 Flasher and it looks really good,no soldering and it dual boots easilly wich is really exciting,Here's a link and some youtube vid of it flashing to 3.55....

Why can I not find any of this on here?? and why everytime some asks ''do i really need to solder to downgrade my slim'' people answer ''ohh yes,,it's a requirement'' lol maybe I havn't looked hard enough but I couldn't find anything,like a tut.

Anyway going to buy one soon,just thought I'd care and share...

EDIT - The FAQ on the site I linked to for this gadget has Is old,It says Under Q2 that a little solder is required (This was without the clip they provide now wich is solderless) You can clearly see this in the Tutorial they provide Under the exact same Questio (Question 2)

The limited version need solder some points on NOR FLASH SLIM CONSOLE, no need any wire.

from the site you linked. you need to solder. just because you don't need to use wires doesn't mean you don't need to solder.

The older Version had to be soldered but the one that I linked you to above has a clip instead = No soldering (at all)

You're totally rite to notice what was said and it does say this (Don't know why they havn't changed it fully) but on closer inspection,I saw they posted a Tut for installation on the Slim (Nor)

Anyways my Ps3 came today with 3.50 so no need for this expensive work around,thought I'd try and share the wealth while I was at it.
1st You say it's solder (like every1 else on this site) and now aparently the solderless clip is sold seperate when it's not,Don't be negative man,no wonder this site is flopping with attitudes like dat,Do you not think we need to help the scene out?? with any info we can.
Anyways I'm off to play RuBaDuB lol take it Ezi man

the e3 flasher doesnt dual boot at moment with nand clip
and also you cant use any cfw you have to use there special firmware
no install pkg folder either
