Can anyone confirm this about the Vita..?
So iv'e had one on pre-order for a while now & am (was if this is true) very much looking forward to it, but today read that it ONLY supports Sony's proprietary new memory format/stick (PS1 memory cards all over again!)
Suddenly, if this is true the Vita doesn't seem so competitively priced as i am damn sure that these will be capped in size (probably 32GB) & ridiculously priced (going off Sony's track record) i do hope for Sony's sake that this isn't the case.
I will most definitely be cancelling my pre-order if this turns out to be true & waiting to see if Sony comes to it's senses as far as future models are concerned.

I googled:

And you are correct. They are going to be very expensive.

Give it a while, someone will come out with a third party memory device for it.
