Thread: Windows 8 Developer Preview now available to download

well I am on developers. I have the disk but i dont want to use it. I went to add device on printers and it didnt show up. On windows 7 it did. Downloaded the latest disk from the site and it days close this application so i cant run the setup.

will dual boot it.

I'm trying it out, but am not too crazy about it so far. It seems................clumsy is the word that comes to mind.

interesting....is it listed in your device manager? if so, uninstall the driver, unplug the printer usb, restart your computer & plug it back in before windows boots up to force the driver install. You can also try this even if it's not installed....

if that doesn't work, you can rip the printer driver directly from the disk so you don't have to install all the other garbage if you'd like....also, have a look at the manufacturer's website...most will offer download links for drivers since with windows xp & earlier you couldn't update drivers via windows update.

I think it really sucks, this is made for a tablet, not a desktop imo.

Ohh this is for touchscreen PCs. There is a way to put it like the other windows

this is the worst idea that microsoft culd have this is not made for a regular pc and I hate to admit it but yeah 7 and xp are the best windows
