    Default TV/Monitor

    This is for people with some PC experience. I recently bought a PC and was wondering if I could use my Samsung 32" full HDTV as a gaming monitor. Will the picture quality improve, worsen, or stay the same?

    As long as you got an HDMI cable to hook up your PS3 to your PC monitor, there shouldn't be a problem. As for the quality, what TV/monitor did you use b4 for your ps3? And btw, nthn beats trying, so just hook it up, play a game you're used to, and see the difference for yourself

    Got try hooking up my tv as a screen for my pc some people do it and looks pretty cool

    some people like it some dont, my brother has a 19 or 20 something inch tv for his pc monitor and personally i think its looks crap when compared to the a proper monitor. imo that is anyway

    I meant hooking up you PC to your HDTV. will it look better or worse than your average monitor.

    Oh, sorry, when I read 'gaming monitor' I assumed it's gonna be PS3 lol. Well, for me, I think 32'' is too big for a PC. If you play with a gamepad I guess it could be nice, but with a mouse, I don't know, it feels...weird. Maybe because i'm used to smaller ones (up to 22''). Again, you can just hook it up and see for yourself.

    BTW, you should have a powerful Graphic card to get optimum resolution.

    it's 1080. any card from 2004 onwards should do.
