Explain me something ,when you run a power app on your pc ,does your pc slow down ?and when you run a quite simple low end app like vlc etc does it slow?For the first scenario everyone knows load on cpu will make the machine slow.But in second scenario there is not much load on cpu due to low requirement.Before ps3iso was created it was ps2iso which had low end server max user you could see 100 users per day.After ps3 was hacked it became ps3iso which made it receive traffic ,current server was not ready to receive that kind of traffic,server team now has upgraded the server to more powerful one which until now seems to being doing fine,it has nothing to do with traffic,as instead of going down it keeps rising.Server load average seems to be high almost half the time.
So if you haven't studied in IT field user traffics effects the load on the server.

I doubt more people are relying on torrents. Once you get used to downloading from Megaupload, torrents seem way to slow.

torrents go quite fast for me. and I love the way you can split up the download so you can get parts on each connection.
also you don't need to deal with parts.

Don't get me wrong. I like torrents for the fact that you can pause a download and restart it where it left off. I am on a fixed bandwidth with satellite so that's good for me.

I use multiple internet cafes.
utorrent remote is quite handy for this style of downloading.

Thanks for the info. Because of this site of being well put together with its community and content, i imagined that the server you guys were working with initially had a much higher capacity than 100 users but what do you know. Makes me even more appreciative to all the staff that help keep this going.

I wish that people would stop taking all the good usernames.
