for that price, i am sure the seller didnt tell you, that it has a YLOD or broken BD drive
because any PS3 for that price usually is faulty!
if he says its in mint condition and works, then my guess is, that he had a YLOD and made a temp fix, so he can sell it as non faulty

but thats just my guess
