Is Hotfile dead now? I had rapidshare for a while and (being stupid) I paid for the 6 months and it looked like as soon as i paid for it everyone started avoiding rapidshare (I couldn't find much links). But searching around i kept finding a lot of Hotfile links so after a few months i invested in hotfile and again (being stupid) i paid for the 6 months. I can bet my left arm that as soon as i got that account people stopped uploading there. Is there something im missing? is hotfile bad too now like rapidshare?

I've been with MU for almost 3 yrs now and love it.. I joined filesonic simply for the links in the "free users cannot download" section, though thinking about fileserve as well - I see links for them everywhere.

Fileserve for sure mate, every game has tons of links for Fileserve so yeah... fileserve ftw

im in the us east coast and i tried most of the known ones, but it seems like fileserve is best for downloading. i seem to get consistent speeds above 1 to 2 mbps. at times i get boost up to 3 to 4 mbps for a few minutes. i have the $30 6 mth plan. to me it seems like there is a lot of stuff out there on fileserve, you can google a movie or game with fileserve and it will probably come up. i tried megaupload, rapidshare, filesonic, filefactory, and a few others and they all seem to have issues with speed and consistency. megaupload is the worst, but rapidshare is ok but they put a cap even on premium account. filesonic was slow for me too but filefactory gives a lot of storage on free accounts.

i have a MU one but its not a big deal if u dont get it because u dont have to wait as long as file serve if ur not a premium member and also if u download mega manager all u do is enter the links and it downloads it for u. thats why everyone should post on megaupload

Fileserve 100%
MU is a dead provider

I have both Megaupload and Fileserve. I love having MU for a site called icefilms and MU used to be awesome for xbox 360 games.(I will never buy a spindle of DL-DVDs again!) What I don't like is that Megaupload recently switched to using euros so It's about $3-4 dollars more a month.
Fileserve is very popular here on ps3iso and even another site I frequent, megarelease, uses fileserve for it's mirrors now.
So for me It's $14 bucks a month for MU or $10 bucks a month for fileserve.
If you can have only one, go with fileserve. The speeds are identical to mu, at least on my end. And more and more people are hosting their files there.
Good luck and I hope this helped.

Honestly, with JDownloader I just set Megaupload (unpaid) to run overnight, and by morning the game is done.
Sure, my download gets caped, but it's still at ~250 kbs sec. Sure, that's five times slower then what these other people are boasting, but I can't honestly think of a time in my life I've been like 'I NEED THIS GAME NOOOOW! NOT FIVE HOURS FROM NOW!' enough to warrent the 20 bucks per month.
Another factor to consider is how many games you need to download. Once you get the handful of games you really want, you'll be sitting on your hands with your subscription unless you really must have them all.
One last point: once that first game finishes, the next one'll be done in another day. Are you seriously going to get bored of what you just downloaded in ONE day??
My two cents...
