I am 30 and have been playing games since I was about 4, way back when the Atari 2600 was the big selling 'console' and I have had almost every console released since except for the N64 and NGC, and I can honestly say that I will be gaming for many more years to come

If I helped don't forget to

Same here! I still have mine and it works perfectly. There's a nice wood finish to it too

Oh yeah you can't beat the finish of a good ole 2600, although the oldest system I got now is my Megadrive/Genesis and a GBC

LOL this thread should be renamed to "How retro are you?"

The funny thing is that when I was a kid our 2nd TV (the one for the Atari) was in black and white; to this day it still looks strange to me to see games like Pitfall, Berzerk or Missile Attack in color.

I am old enough to remember when $1.50 would buy an ice cream bar a candy bar and a comic book.
My first real system was an Intellivision played an a "huge" 14 inch black and white screen (if I recall correctly).

Yay I'm not the only one! The picture was surprisingly crisp on those tvs, and they never died. They should have a black and white option on atari emulators.
