Thread: Sorry for not being here.

Sorry for not being here as of late, I've been extremely sick today is the first day I've been able to stand up without "calling Ralf".
Hopefully I'll feel better in a few more days.

A word to the wise, if you live in Florida DO NOT get Brighthouse for your cable company if you have any choice in the matter, it's been about a month and they still haven't gotten my internet service working again.
Sure they took money off my bill for the inconvenience, but I'd rather be able to use what I signed up for.
I hope AT&T gets their lines run in my area soon, because the instant they do I'm switching.

That sucks, I know how that goes.

Well, get better and I hope you get some better internet.

My connection has been running between 1MB/S to 3MB/S.
Now if only I could find more sites with 'mediafire' links.

As soon as my net gets working I'm going to temporarily stop uploading new games and mirror the ones I already have up and I'm thinking of using MF as one of the mirrors.

That's cool.

There's pros and cons to MF.
I've found that links from MF tend to get corrupted more than other sites, which sucks if you're the unploader.
On the plus side, it's pretty much unlimited downloading.


So, for the leechers it's really good, but for the uploaders it's kind of 'eh'.


I've also heard that the links can get deleted faster/more often than other sites (because of how easy it is to search for links.


Just, for the love of god, stay away from RS.
I, and a legion of folks I've read/talked to, have had nothing but issues with them.
My ISP even ban the site for months...and I still haven't gotten my premium membership even though I paid for it.

The only time I use RS is if one of the multi mirror sites I use uses it and there is no option not to use it.
