I was downloading most of my movies from there, it was a good torrent site, much better than isohunt in some ways if you ask me.

anyway,i don't know if there's a connection with the megaupload thing but,from now on we can expect any sites like these to be closed.

Torrent and file-hosting sites will come and go but newsgroups will continue to flourish. With the amount of providers out there offering access for just a few dollars or pounds a month I don't know why so many people are loathe to use them. Once a file or series of files have been uploaded they're there for years - 3 at least and rising - and no sitting waiting for a seed when everyone's hit and run while you're still at 83%. And speed? Whatever your max speed is then that's what you download at, no sitting waiting around as your movie, game, album or whatever comes down at just a few 'K' a second. And it happens, we've all been there, anyone who says otherwise is lying.

Usenet is your friend. Do your research and embrace it, because the way things are going it's the only way you're doing to guarantee a steady stream of content.
