Thread: Poetry Corner

Had to do this at PSPISO a few years ago,
to have a place to rhyme or sonnet without feeling pressure.
So go ahead, let loose, let everyone know.

Hopefully for a lot of you this will be fresher..

In the land of the free and home of the slave.
God gave a ceremony that the devil portrayed.
Made man woman fire, earth wind and sun.
When spoke said all should be treated as one.
But one came from the heavens, spoke of no tomorrow.
Lucifer choose your sins over sorrow, inside.
To hide away the god and take away the pride.

Action. Adam and eve made a sin.
But blamed it on the snake with a devilish grin..
I wonder if they ever really took that bite.
Did jesus die for our sins to shed light.
To make all these rules.
All this talk about mary, got me confused.
Immaculate conception vs the god style.
I'd choose not to preach at you, that's to wild.
But you know the deal.
Thall shall not kill..
Thall shall not steal..
Thall shall not lie...

We all gotta die one day.
I wonder why there's stars in the sky.
Who made time
Who made the rhyme.
Who stole for the first time.
Who took a chance and invented the dance.
Who made the million dollar federals and ritual chants.

And no one else finds it funny.
That there's an egyptian pyramid on american money.
