it can be done, my two 3tb hd are all fat32 no partitions. i helped a guy get a 4 tb hd formatted.

it was ticking while spinning meaning it was sure to fail soon.

yeah^ don't have a xbox so don't know about that but on ps3 it's just so dumb that you have games which would fit in on a regular dvd but they're on blueray!
i hope there are blueray discs smaller in size for small games like around 3-4gigs up to 10,otherwise would be such a waste.

also,on the 360 do you have to install game data too as for the ps3?? that is so dumb too... mostly when you have a backup onto the hdd which already runs faster compared to reading the game from the disc, but then again you'll have to install the game data for some titles,no matter what :(

360 games do not require game data installs. I think this is because 360 games discs (dual layer dvds) have a much smaller capacity than bluray discs and can be read faster as a result (making game data install pointless). However, game data installs are optional for a few games, such as Battlefield 3.

I think 360 games tend to be smaller than PS3 games because developers typically downscale the resolution of textures or they compress the cutscenes more to get the game to fit on a dual layer dvd. In most cases, you can't tell that they downscaled the textures for the 360 versions of the games, but you can really tell with Battlefield 3 if you don't install the texture pack. However, as of late, I have noticed that most game developers are just releasing 360 games on multiple discs rather than downscaling textures and compressing cutscenes more (consequently, this results in the 360 versions of multi-platform games being around the same size as their PS3's counterparts). Rage is an example of one of those games as it is on a total of 3 Xbox 360 game discs (The 360 version of Rage is around 21 gb. That is around the same size as the PS3 version, which is about 20.2 gb).

I now use my xbox for pirateplaying, and ps3 for legit playing, in xbox i play with external hdd, 1tb in games, i have almost 100 games... Ps3 i have 10 originals.

Xbox dont need to instal game data, if you install the game runs faster than from disc, as said the Blue ray read speed is slower than DVD, because of this ps3 have to install game data.
Ps3 Vs Xbox - They do exactly the same, the graphics are near, in some games ps3 do it better, in other xbox do it better, in almost cases they are the same. Xbox is better to piracy, Ps3 is better for originals, i think so. But M$ made a new revision of consoles(corona/liteon 1175) that cant be hacked. And i think it wont be hacked for now.

My Steam library says 34 games.
My Origin library (lol) says 2 games.
My PC shelf has 4 games.
My PS3 drawer has 33 games.
MY PSN library shows 8 games.
My Wii shelf has 10 games.
My 3DS bag has 4 games.

Oh you meant pirated... I have 20 PS3 games, 17 Wii games and 9 DSi games. Then every single rom from all "retro" consoles. i.e SNES, NES, SMS, etc...

And I have absolutely nothing to play.
