Installing games over a network
i am having a lot of trouble trying to get this to work. i use a laptop so using the IDE method cant be done. i have a sata external harddrive shell, so that cant be used. i have tried using LordBoGaMis's hd dump, hdl dumb, and ps2clientloader (all programs the current and newest versions). i am running windows xp x64 (have also tried doing this on a 32 bit ubuntu os) and have a fat ps2 (unsure model number). i have tried using the ulaunchelf's server program and when that didnt work i tried using hdl dumb's sever elf. i am also trying to do this through a crossover cable (i have also tried through a router with a straight through, still no luck). i have tried to keep a static ip address when connecting to my ps2 as well as trying a dynamic one. my computer does create a network and connects, but none of the programs can talk to my ps2. can any one help me out? ive read about a dozen walkthroughs on the internet and nothing has helped so far. can anyone help me out?
