    Default Help with playing backup games with Hardmodded PS2

    I have been trying to burn and play Suikoden V on my hardmodded PS2, using a DVD±RW drive and Sony Blank 4.7GB discs. The software I used is the "write the image file onto the disc" option in Imgburn.

    However, whenever I try to load the game in my PS2, I keep getting a "Please insert a PS2 format disc" error.

    I saw on some guides that for games above 4gb, I'm supposed to burn the .mds file that is beside the .iso file in order for it to work. I have tried burning only the .iso file, as well as burning only the .mds file, but neither have proven to be successful.

    Can anyone help with with this? I truly wish to play the games but I have no idea what to do.

    just burn only the iso.....and try another game...

    try the memory exploit also
