my friend recently gave me his ps2 slim to mod, but after an hour of research, i couldnt find anyway to install FCMB and ESR on a slim, without buying a swapmagic
Does anyone know anyways to install it on a slim?
oh, and since i used the multi install on my fat ps2, can i just pop in my memory card into his slim and install FCMB and ESR?

i thought that would work, but then i got to thinking this "how will it boot into the installer menu?"
and "should i put it into slot 2?"

PS3ISO Enthusiast Why don't you just give him your memory card since it's a multi-version install?
You can then make yourself another one.

I have a slim & I did a multi-version install on my memory card. I can take that memory card & use it in my bro's fat PS2. That's the purpose of the mult-version install. So, the multi-version install memory card you have should work just fine in your friend's slim.
You still have your Gameshark (from your other post) right? So it's easy to then make another multi-version memory card on your fat.

i could just use his memory card, and give him mine
but i just dont wanna go through the hassle of backing up all my data xD

oh i know if his is off topic but do you know if there are any working pal to ntsc converters?
i just downloaded sonic gems collection, only ot find out it was pal :[
i didnt know that japanese and u.s. games had slus codes, while pal games had pbpx codes O.o
