Have you thought about playing them from a USB device or computer network?
I really hope not XD If it is that then I'll have to wait longer... bit weird though I don't really use the burner anymore... Stupid thing All I want is to play some of my fav classic games along with some that never came out here like FFXII Zodiac job system :(
Have you thought about playing them from a USB device or computer network?
Well I've heard that USB booting results in framerate issues and well as choppy FMVs because of it being a usb 1.1 and I think the computer network stuff involves me buying stuff which I cannot do right now as I am out of a job thanks to GAME.
Yes, there are problems like that with USB but some games play fine and the program PS2ESL can help a lot with choppy FMVs. You will need a network adapter for fats to play games from a computer network.

Yeah thats what I thought... I just wish something went right for me for a change XD.
Well, like I mentioned earlier, you could try Alcohol 120%, I've had games that would play terribly slow or freeze when burned with IMGBurn but played fine when burned with it.
Yeah I'll be sure to try all sorts of stuff untill I run out of disks XD. Whats the best speed to burn at?
Usually 4x, though some games have been reported to work better at 6x. Make sure to set the datatype to Playstation 2 in Alcohol 120%. Here's Alcohol 120%: Just install it and make sure it's not running then move the file in the crack folder to the Alcohol 120% folder in program files, overwriting the existing one.

Just tried MGS 3 It got to the konami logo then after that a little disk Icon and "?" Showed up in the top left corner... :( Well it went further than the rest....
Hmm just tried the FFX one again and it came up with Unable to read disk then the DVD menu came up (The one with numbers 1-9, play and pause etc.)

What is the model number of your PS2? You might have a Slim that doesn't work with FMCB.
Do you have the right PLx file installed for your system? Not having the right PLx file installed will result in some of the issues that you are currently having as well. I had the same type of issues with my ESR games as well when the Noobie package that I used was set up for a PAL system and not a NTSC-U system. I changed the PLx file and it worked perfectly!
