    Default Open ps2 loader question(s)

Hey guys, just recently made my FMCB and finally figured out how to get OPL and everything else working. renamed all my .isos (several of which I got here) and used fixiso to make sure they were all correct, put them on a 320 gig hd I had lying around and was testing things out.

Got a few questions, though. A lot (maybe 2/3rds) of the isos I have on there simply don't show up. Is there a way to fix this? I tried usbutil for some but even if it said "ok" on it I still didn't have them show up.

Also, is there a way to get a few games (Makai Kingdom, specifically) to load? I saw somewhere that there was a code you could insert, but I wasn't sure where to place it. It hangs on "Now Loading" and won't go any further.

If nothing else, is there a list of games that are already formatted for OPL or something that I could look at?

Try using Auslogics disk defrag to defragment your drive. Also make sure none of the names have more than 32 characters or they won't show up. You could try using a later revision of OPL for the game:
I tested Makai Kingdom on a USB stick and I couldn't get it to work with OPL either, but it will work with PS2ESDL, it will also work on SMB with OPL. Here's PS2ESDL:

Ah, 32 characters makes sense, I didnt even think of that. I know a lot of the games have the (blah blah blah) in them. I appreciate that! I was defragging the hd with the one recommended (power defrag), so I was hoping that wasn't it.

I've been trying to recover some of the games that the usbutil says isn't valid, and it just shuts it down. Will partial recoveries work?

I haven't had much luck with the USBUtil recovery, but if you burn a game with an error to a disc and use USBUtil to create a game/ISO from it, it will usually fix the errors.
