    yes i want to learn because basically all of the languages i've learned are too mainstream is there a fortran compiler so i could get on that language for the fun sake

    Usually going mainstream with languages is the best way to go, knowing how to program in c++, java, c#, etc is better than knowing how to program in other more unknown languages. Anyway uh i don't know any fortran compiler, but google is your friend as always
