    There is always a risk when we touch the flash of the PS3 but if you follows the tutoriel of installation has the letter there should not be problems, I change regularly coldboot and I is never had of problems.

    ya changing the coldboot wont screw anything up...ive changed mine numverous times....with other peoples and ones i've made myself too - never had an issue
